| Welcome to Alligator Soup! |
Alligator Soup is the hottest new original band to hit the Central Florida music scene. 'The Soup' may not be a new Florida delicacy,
but singer/guitarist Joey Pable, bass/vocals Doug 'The Roamer' deLeon, keyboard/vocal Steve 'V' Grace, and drummer/vocals Wayne 'Bam-Bam'
Payton are the main ingredients you will find in this spicy blend of bluesy, jazzy, hillbilly, country, rock and roll music.
Since 2000, The Soup has fired up their high-energy, emotional blues/rock machine to blaze a trail though the local night clubs of
Central Florida. They have also opened for such acts as The Marshall-Tucker Band, Pat Travers, and Molly Hatchet, amazing crowds with
their uncanny renditions of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. They also perform outstanding covers from such artists as ZZ Top,
Robin Trower, The Rolling Stones, and others. The music Joey writes truly ignites the raw passion of these fine players. The songs are a
powerful collection of melodies about a man's trials and tribulations dealing with life and love.
The band has just finished recording its first CD, 'Alligator Soup', a collection of songs that really show the Florida roots of Joey.
The Soup will return to the studio in 2007 to record their 2nd CD, with new drummer Wayne Payton, to lay down tracks of smooth, funky,
Florida high humidity blues. The band is ever evolving, their music growing with each song written. Each member of The Soup is an
accomplished musician, having a whole lot of fun bringing their unique style of music to a growing number of fans. This is a band on
their way to the top!!
